Make it Snappy

The Blog

Hello, and Welcome!

I really like going down the rabbit hole and losing myself in a topic that I love. I enjoy sharing my findings with others and creating a space where we can be mutually inspired by topics relating to art. If you know me in life, you know that I talk a lot. So my goal here is to share information relating to art and photography in an easily digestible, snappy way.

A lot of photography blogs are really just a personable way for photographers to share their work. If you’re interested in that sort of thing, you can mosey on over to my portfolios. I share photos and little behind-the-scenes tidbits over there. This blog is dedicated to talking about photography and art in a more generalized way. We’ll talk about different styles of photography, trending and unique family poses, things to consider when choosing a photographer, and so on. So go grab your favorite beverage, cozy on up, and let’s talk photography!

Custom Mood Boards- How They Work and Why I Use Them

When we had our family photos done in May, I used a mood board to plan our outfits. I was so pleased with how cohesive everything looked together that I decided to start offering these mood boards to clients.
